WHAT’S NEW?
• Coupons still available: Get a free dessert, or a dinner half price, when you buy one at Dos Frijoles. Plus, get 15% off stays at the Richfield Comfort Inn, and 10% off your purchases at Christian Books and More (great children’s books & videos)! Just print out one of their coupons from Ideal Living magazine, from the link at the top of the page at http://RichfieldMall.com.
• The Spring issue of Ideal Living will be available in about three weeks. Look for it at Ideal Dairy, Little Wonder Cafe, Coldwell Banker Realty, elsewhere throughout the county!
• Design Theory is leaving Richfield, and re-locating in St. George. Their moving sale is going on now at 44 South Main Street (896-0307). Be sure to get some great deals on beautiful furnishings and (inexpensive) jewelry, handbags and luggage while you can!
• Rumor has it that a major ‘big box’ retail chain has purchased a large tract of land somewhere near the south end of Richfield. Look for signs to appear sometime soon…
• A major hotel chain will be breaking ground on a new hotel in Richfield, sometime in the next 12 months.
• Some large restaurant chains are showing some interest in the Richfield area. IHOP, the Sizzler, and Perkins Restaurant & Bakery have all investigated opening locations near Richfield’s South I-70 interchange. Something about 30,000 (hungry) people a day driving by a location will do that.
• A new ERA realty office has opened in Richfield. ERA Brokers Consolidated is newly located at 151 North Main Street, next to the Huish Reel Theatre downtown. ERA offers some unique incentives: Buyers have a one-year guarantee toward major repairs, and sellers have a guaranteed sales date at 90% of the appraised value, and if they sell your home later on for more than that, you will be given the full difference. To contact them, stop by or call: (435) 896-9609.
• “Local residents Mark & Sue Rudie, of the brand new Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings, bring the showroom right to your home, office, jobsite, or anywhere convenient to you! They’ll measure the floors and windows you’d like to have done, show you hundreds of samples and thousands of colors, and arrange installation for you. Six month same-as-cash financing is also available which really comes in handy when selling or buying a home. Nationwide offers free in-home showings and estimates to help homeowners select from the latest in carpet, tile, hardwood, vinyl, laminates, area rugs, and a complete selection of window shade and blind treatments. All are ordered direct from the top manufacturers in the country. The best thing about their service is homeowners can get the most accurate idea of how the new items would look in their home or office with their own lighting, furniture, colors, and décor. ‘No more running back and forth to the store because the samples didn’t match, arranging for a measure, and waiting for a price quote.’ Mark said. Another superior advantage is that Nationwide operates without storefronts, and the showroom is mobile allowing better accommodations for customers’ schedules. Also, their low overhead and national buying power with other Nationwide outlets gives the customer very competitive pricing. They are available any time of the day or evening, Monday through Saturday. The extended hours offers everyone the opportunity to shop for floor and window coverings when convenient for them. Mark or Sue can be reached at 435-529-3708 or toll free at 800-578-3652, or visit www.FloorsandWindows.com.”

RECIPE OF THE WEEK – http://richfieldmall.com/recipes.html
• Ever notice how very *emphatic* rap music is? About everything?
Well, two comedians from Saturday Night Live noticed. They taped a rap video, ‘Lazy Sunday,’ (a.k.a. the Narnia Rap) which, like a lot of rap, is very, very emphatic. True dat!
But their choice of subject matter is a little different from most rap. Like Google Maps. Going to a movie. And cupcakes. Cupcakes from Greenwich Village’s famous Magnolia Bakery, to be exact.
So although we can’t visit the Magnolia Bakery to ‘mack’ out on cupcakes here in Sevier County, we have some delicious Cupcake, Raspberry Cream Cheese Breakfast Buns, and Banana Pudding recipes to enjoy at home. Double true!
A link to the hilarious rap video (said to be the funniest thing to come out of SNL in years), these and other Valentine’s Day recipes are available now — or anytime — at http://richfieldmall.com/recipes.html
